Classic car consignment in Ontario, OR

The Treasure Valley doesn't stop at the state line. Adam's Motors is the official Bring a Trailer Local Partner for the region - 40+ cars sold for $2.7M+ - and Ontario gets the same free pickup as anywhere else in the valley.

Under an hour from Eagle

A state line is a line on a map, not a barrier.

Ontario sits at the western edge of the same valley we work in every day. It's a short run down I-84, close enough that picking up a car there is an ordinary afternoon rather than a logistics project. Collectors on the Oregon side often assume their options are limited to whatever exists locally, or that consigning through an Idaho shop means paperwork headaches and long drives. Neither is the case.

Practically speaking, an Ontario consignment looks the same as an Eagle one. We talk on the phone, you send photos of the car where it sits, we give you a straight read on what it should do at auction and what work is worth doing first. If you want to move forward, we drive over, load the car, and take it back to the shop. From that point on, the process is ours.

How a cross-border consignment works

Remote by default, handled end to end.

Most of an Ontario consignment happens over the phone and through photos. The rest happens at our facility.

Phone-and-photos intake

Send what you have - walkaround shots, engine bay, undercarriage, records. We'll tell you what's missing and what the car needs before we ever load it.

Free Ontario pickup

We come to you. No trailer to rent, no drive across the valley, no coordinating a friend with a truck.

Oregon paperwork handled

Oregon titles, transfer documents, and the buyer-side paperwork are handled as part of the consignment. You sign what needs signing and we do the rest.

What happens once the car is here

The same prep every car gets

A car arriving from Ontario goes through exactly what a car from two miles away goes through. A mechanical check comes first, because anything safety-related gets sorted before a camera comes out. Then correction and ceramic prep in house, then photography and video shot specifically for an auction listing rather than for a classifieds thumbnail. Storage is secure and covered for the duration.

When the listing goes live, we write it, we manage it, and we answer the comments. That last part is where remote consignors get the most value: you're not fielding messages at ten at night from people asking about the transmission. You get updates; we handle the traffic. After the hammer drops we vet the buyer, coordinate payment, and arrange delivery.

If you want to see the full shape of it before committing, the Bring a Trailer consignment process is laid out step by step, and a free classic car valuation is the natural first move.
